Designed by acclaimed architect Ted Robinson Sr., the Palm and Valley courses at JW Marriott Desert Springs incorporates 35 acres of sparkling streams, lakes and cascading waterfalls throughout to create one of the most picturesque settings in the Coachella Valley with a distinct tropical oasis feel. Adding to the visual mastery of these courses, greenside and fairway bunkers lined with railroad ties adjoin several of the water hazards - with breathtaking views of the towering Santa Rosa Mountains providing a majestic backdrop. Additional hallmarks of the two layouts include undulating fairways, multi-tiered greens, and white-sand bunkers. The Palm Course, a 6,761-yard, par 72 from the back tees, is characterized by its signature palm trees that line the fairways and adorn the greens. The layout also incorporates mogul-like mounding that comes into play on several holes. With four sets of tees, both award-winning courses were designed to be accessible for the beginning golfer while presenting plenty of challenge for the experienced player.
