About Tradition Golf Club
So few courses provide freedom off the tee. Even fewer do so while combining the luxury and overall feel of Tradition Golf Club in Pawleys Island. Set amid some of the nicest golf courses we have to offer, Tradition holds its place in the Waccamaw Golf Trail with a creative yet simple design that focuses on pristine surfaces, protected greens and a challenging yet playable round unlike many of its regional competitors. Well-known Florida course architect Ron Garl accomplished just that when one of his only designs in the Carolinas was opened in 1996. Previously named the South Carolina Golf Course of the Year and routinely honored by regional and national publications, Tradition complements a par-72 round with its Mega Practice Complex, one that has since been copied at other courses around the United States. With upward of 6,875 yards awaiting players, that practice facility is the perfect warm up before attacking the course.
