About Barefoot Golf - Dye Course
Pete Dye's goal when designing The Barefoot Dye Course was to create a course that would be almost impossible for a golfer who had played there to forget. He accomplished that goal with this Par 72, 7,343 yard masterpiece. The hallmarks of Dye's work usually include stunning aesthetics with infamous pitfalls for the errant shot. This course possesses each of those characteristics but was brilliantly designed to allow players of all skill levels to navigate the course from the various tee boxes that are available. It is a former recipient of Myrtle Beach's Course of the Year and is a must play while in the area.
